MISSION ::

The mission of the Louisiana Young Democrats is to bring young people into the democratic process. The Louisiana Young Democrats attempt to accomplish this goal through a variety of core activities, including among others:

· Recruiting new Democrats and registering them to vote.
· Training Young Democrats to be effective campaign volunteers and field workers.
· Educating young voters on the issues that matter to them.
· Leading campaign invasions to help Democrats win elections.
· Encouraging and assisting young people to run for elected office.
· Communicating the Democratic message to young voters using the Internet, email, and web blogs.
